The CSBK or China Superbike Championship is a newly established motor sports series: the first ever Superbike Championship in China.
CSBK takes over the National Motorcycle Championship format of GP125cc, Production 150cc and supporting motorcycle races but adds a very new and exciting component to it: 600cc Supersport class, currently one of the most competitive classes in the world of motorcycle racing.
The CSBK is officially sanctioned by CMSA (China Motorcycle Sport Association), it follows the rules and regulations of the FIM (International Motorcycle Federation).
The winning formula of CSBK is: charismatic riders, powerful bikes, and unparalleled action making it a one-of-a-kind promotion platform for sponsors wishing to make a powerful
statement on the Chinese market.
The objective of this Championship is multifold:
ï Promote Chinese national talents and Chinese motorcycling
ï Provide a stepping stone for Chinese riders towards international championships such as: Asian GP, World Superbike, MotoGP
ï Offer a marketing and commercial platform to sponsors of the events
About CSBK
600cc
A category set by FIM World Superbike Championship. 600cc motorcycles are lightweight and fast. Their outstanding speed provides spectacular racing. China Superbike Championship embraced this categroy, thus providing a training opportunity for Chinese riders for international competitions.
GP125cc classes A and B
GP125cc motorcycles are low capacity and high speed machines. These bikes are made for racing and allow up and coming riders a platform to train to be a professional rider.
150cc
All 150cc machines are mass produced motorcycles. Their chassis and engines are similar to what's widely available on the Chinese local market. Therefore, China Superbike Championship is an excellent platform for China's motorcycle manufacturers to showcase their products. This category is also provides an environment for rookies to test their skills and talents.
